Lobby for Good is New Zealand's first civic intelligence platform.
Four years ago, we made a promise to build something that removes the barriers stopping everyday New Zealanders from having their voices heard. We started with the obvious path - funding rounds, investors, grants. It did not take long to see the problem. A platform built to challenge the status quo cannot be funded by the people who benefit from it. The same organisations that already had no trouble getting a seat at the table were not going to fund a tool designed to give that seat to everyone else so, we walked away from that model. And we started again.
Since then, we have been quietly building something completely new. No investors. No party lines. No vested interests. Just an independent civic intelligence platform designed to keep you informed - and to level a playing field that has been tilted for too long. It has taken longer than we planned. But it is better for it.
To everyone who volunteered their time, believed in the idea before there was anything to show for it, and stuck around anyway - thank you. You are the reason this exists.The official launch is 14 May. But our members get the keys early. We are opening early access to a limited number of founding members before the platform goes public. You will be the first inside. You will help us shape what comes next.
